FRONT OF HOUSE ATTENDANT
Casual Position
Hourly Rate: $31.84 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus superannuation and penalty rates when applicable
Are you ready to be part of the Carriageworks team in our Front of House team? We are looking for vibrant individuals to join our dynamic Front of House team! If you’re passionate about events, love interacting with people, and want to be part of a community that celebrates a broad and diverse range of performances and events, including performing and visual arts, food, drink and music events, this is the gig for you!

FRONT OF HOUSE ATTENDANT RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Front of House Attendant, you’ll be the face of Carriageworks, ensuring that every visitor’s experience is nothing short of exceptional. Your tasks will include:
Welcoming visitors with a smile and providing outstanding customer service.
Assisting Front of House Managers to coordinate visitor services seamlessly.
Collaborating with the Visitor Experience Manager and Production Team for event success.
Managing audience flow, ticketing support, ushering, and cloaking services.
Interacting with guests, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum of one year of experience in events, hospitality, or customer service-based roles.
Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays (additional days also required).
Available to commence work 21st May – 25th May.
Passion for events and a genuine love for connecting with people.
Enthusiastic, positive attitude and a team player.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Flexible approach to working hours, including the capacity to work evenings and weekends.
Current work rights in Australia.
